Hidayah Foundation is a dedicated non-governmental organization (NGO) working for the welfare of children, youth and women. Our main goal is to ensure a beautiful and improved lifestyle for every person in society. We believe that every person deserves dignity, education, and well-being.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of the weak and marginalized groups of society. We serve the society through various social, cultural, health, and educational programs.
Principles and Values
Islamic Ideals and Moderation: The Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Messenger (ﷺ) are our main foundation. All our activities are conducted with moderation, following the methodology practiced in the early era of Islam.
Brotherhood and Social Solidarity: We believe in establishing unity, solidarity, and mutual brotherhood within the Ummah. By encouraging good deeds and forbidding wrong, we strengthen social and religious values.

Goals and Objectives
Nurturing Scholars and Dedicated Da‘wah Carriers: Developing a modern, contextually relevant curriculum and textbooks rooted in the fundamental teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, alongside the establishment of madrasahs.
Competitions and Awards: Organizing competitions and award ceremonies on education, culture, and various social and life-oriented subjects.
Advanced Research Center: Establishing centers dedicated to higher Islamic research and education.
Islamic Education for Working Men and Women: Offering diverse Islamic education courses of varying durations tailored for working men and women.
Establishment and Management of Educational Institutions: Setting up and managing schools, colleges, universities, and technical institutes inspired by the ideals of As-Sunnah.
Foundational Education at the Pre-Primary Level: Expanding basic education at the pre-primary level through the establishment of Subahi Maktabs (early morning Qur’an schools).
Support for Underprivileged Children: Providing educational and related expenses to prevent school dropouts among children from financially disadvantaged families.
Employment and Poverty Alleviation: Providing financial support for self-reliance along with training in handicrafts, mechanical trades, technical skills, and farm management.
Relief Assistance: Distributing relief to affected regions during emergencies and natural disasters.
Ramadan Iftar and Da‘wah Programs: Arranging Iftar distribution for the underprivileged during Ramadan, along with special da‘wah initiatives.
Eid Support Programs: Distributing zakat al-fitr, clothing, and Eid essentials among the needy.
Qurbani Distribution: Organizing qurbani on behalf of donors and distributing the meat to underprivileged families.
Livelihood Support: Providing income-generating tools such as rickshaws, sewing machines, and other resources to impoverished families.
Safe Drinking Water Projects: Installing tube wells and water reservoirs in underserved communities.
Environmental Protection: Planting and maintaining high-yield trees in the courtyards of poor households and residential madrasahs.
Self-Reliance Training: Offering diverse training and support to help students become self-reliant.
Support for Widows and Orphans: Covering the living expenses of widows and taking full responsibility for the care and education of orphans until maturity.
Model Mosque Construction and Management: Building and managing exemplary mosques that contribute to the development of a peaceful and prosperous society.
Religious Gatherings and Discussion Forums: Organizing weekly, monthly, annual, and special-purpose religious gatherings, sermons, open discussions, and forums in mosques, madrasahs, district auditoriums, upazila conference halls, and public venues.
Publication and Distribution of Books: Publishing and disseminating authentic and fundamental books that present pure Islamic knowledge, beliefs (‘aqeedah), principles, and perspectives.
Elimination of Shirk and Bid‘ah: Taking initiatives to eradicate shirk, bid‘ah, extremism, and radical tendencies.
Promotion Through Social Media: Recording and broadcasting thematic discussions and programs through social media platforms.
Da‘wah to Non-Muslims: Authoring, translating, publishing, and distributing books that highlight the superiority and beauty of Islam to non-Muslims.
Combating Superstition and Cultural Corruption: Implementing various initiatives to eliminate religious and social superstitions and to counter harmful cultural practices.
Family Counseling Department: Operating a dedicated family counseling department.
Call Center for Religious Queries and Guidance: Establishing an open call center to provide religious guidance and counseling.
Muslim Youth Club: Establishing a Muslim Youth Club to engage and empower the younger generation.
Da‘wah Training: Providing da‘wah training programs for Imams and Khateebs.
Islamic Cultural Center for Children and Youth: Establishing Islamic cultural centers for children and adolescents.
Library Establishment: Setting up libraries to promote knowledge and learning.
Shari‘ah Solutions Department: Managing a Shari‘ah solutions department to provide guidance on Islamic rulings and problem-solving.
Income-Expenditure Policy
Donations and Contributions
Individual Donations: Philanthropic individuals extend their financial support to our foundation’s various projects.
Institutional Contributions: Different organizations and institutions provide donations to sustain our activities.
International Support: We also receive contributions from international organizations and Bangladeshi expatriates.
Charity Events: From time to time, we organize charity events, and the funds raised are utilized in our projects.
Fundraising Campaigns: We conduct fundraising campaigns across social media and other platforms to gather support.
Zakat: Through our Zakat Fund, we assist the poor and underprivileged. Donations collected as zakat are directly used for humanitarian aid.
Fitrah: During Eid, we collect and distribute fitrah among the needy.
