Disaster relief
Works to support people affected by various natural disasters.

Project Description
Bangladesh is a disaster-prone country. Every year, floods, cyclones, tidal surges, landslides, and other natural disasters affect hundreds of thousands of people. Especially during the monsoon season, about 26,000 square kilometers (18%) of the country’s area is flooded, causing extreme suffering and homelessness for people in the northern and other regions. In addition, various disasters such as cyclones, fires, and cold waves severely disrupt the lives of helpless people.
Hidayah Foundation tirelessly works across the country to stand beside disaster-affected people. Since its inception, we have been implementing emergency relief operations during disasters along with long-term rehabilitation programs.
