Qurbani for the poor
Under this project, meat is distributed among the needy by sacrificing cows and goats in different parts of the country.

Project Description
In Bangladesh, there are millions of families who do not have the opportunity to eat meat from cows or goats throughout the year. The only chance for them to eat meat is during the Eid of Qurbani. These people live in extremely impoverished areas where Qurbani is very rare, and often they do not receive sufficient meat even on Eid day.
On the other hand, the number of Qurbanis performed in a single building in the city is often more than what an entire village might have. Therefore, to ensure a balanced distribution of Qurbani meat, the initiative “Qurbani for Everyone” is organized.
Through this initiative, donors from the city can perform their Qurbani by slaughtering animals in remote regions of northern Bangladesh and distributing the meat among the poor and underprivileged people of those areas.
Qurbani is a prayer that can be performed through a representative. Anyone can perform their Qurbani or a part of it through our platform and reach the truly poor people.
