Emergency cash transfer in Gaza
Destitute families in Gaza are being given direct cash assistance to meet their urgent needs, so that they can procure the most essential items themselves.

Project Description
The Self-Reliance Project aims to empower unemployed and unskilled men and women by offering separate technical training programs, followed by financial assistance and the provision of necessary tools. The ultimate goal is to make beneficiaries self-reliant and capable of sustaining themselves with dignity.
The importance of earning a halal livelihood is immense. Allah Almighty says in the Qur’an:
“Then when the prayer is finished, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often so that you may succeed.” (Surah Al-Jumu‘ah, 62:10)
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“No one has ever eaten better food than what he eats from the work of his own hands.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 2072)
In line with this guidance, the foundation provides technical training to the poor so that they may earn a lawful livelihood. Alongside skill development, participants also receive fundamental Islamic education from renowned scholars—covering essential beliefs (‘aqeedah) and rulings—so that they grow not only as self-reliant individuals but also as morally upright and trustworthy citizens.
We believe that providing only training, funds, or tools is not always sufficient for long-term self-reliance. For this reason, Hidayah Foundation ensures continuous supervision, regular follow-up, and necessary guidance for beneficiaries. In this way, we contribute to building a skilled, ethical, and productive workforce.
