Zahurul Islam, a resident of Chengthi Hazaradanga Union No. 10, Debiganj Upazila, Panchagarh district, used to work as a daily wage earner to support his family. He did not have any cattle of his own. In this life of poverty and hardship, he found a new ray of hope after receiving a cow from Hidayah Foundation under the self-reliance project.
The family has been raising the cow with care since receiving it. Currently, the cow has become fat and healthy and has the potential to reproduce in a few days.
